About me

My journey into product management began on the streets of Halifax (Nova Scotia, Canada), where I worked part-time as a food delivery driver during my master’s program. Parking in the city was a constant battle, with fines piling up and frustrations mounting. I wondered: was I alone in this struggle, or was this a widespread problem? Fueled by curiosity, I created a Google Forms Survey to find out. Sharing it across social media, I gathered over 34 responses, with a staggering 96% of participants echoing the need for a solution to this urban challenge. That moment—identifying a problem, validating it with data, and envisioning a solution—sparked my passion for product management.

Since then, I’ve channeled that passion into building impactful products that address user pain points. At CoreLogic, I’ve led initiatives that blend innovation with strategy. Whether it was integrating AI assistants into MLSTOUCH to auto-generate property descriptions—growing the user base to over 1 million—or driving adoption with API integrations like Canva and Zapier, I’ve focused on solving real-world problems with measurable results. My work on OneHome.com further underscores my commitment to delivering seamless user experiences, improving retention by 15% and cutting support complaints by 40%.

Before stepping into product management, my technical foundation as a software engineer equipped me with a deep understanding of systems and the ability to bridge the gap between development teams and business needs. But my curiosity doesn’t stop at work. I channel my creative energy into writing books on Agile Product Management and experimenting in the kitchen, where I find joy in crafting delicious dishes. These hobbies reflect my belief in balance and continuous learning—values that fuel my approach to both work and life.

From ideation to execution, my journey has always been about solving meaningful problems, and I can’t wait to tackle the next big challenge. Let’s build something extraordinary together, shall we?

Interests

Passions and activities that drive my product thinking.

Exploring Innovative Products Across Industries

I have a keen interest in discovering and experimenting with new products across various domains. This curiosity helps me identify usability gaps, generate ideas for improvements, and understand diverse user behaviors—insights that directly contribute to creating user-centric solutions in my role as a product manager.

Following Emerging Market Trends

I love diving into newsletters, Reddit forums like r/ProductManagement, and industry blogs to stay ahead of market trends. This habit keeps me informed about shifting consumer demands and innovative solutions that inspire product roadmaps.

Decoding Customer Feedback

I frequently read app store reviews and product feedback on platforms like Trustpilot to understand real-world user experiences. Whether it’s spotting recurring pain points or creative feature suggestions, this helps me practice customer empathy and prioritize impactful improvements.

Building Empathy Through User-Stories

I enjoy engaging in conversations on Reddit forums like r/UserExperience and other social media channels, where users discuss their frustrations with existing products. These discussions inspire me to think critically about how to build features that better serve user needs and solve common problems.

Exploring Behavioral Psychology in Design

Books like "Hooked" by Nir Eyal and podcasts on behavioral psychology fascinate me. They fuel my understanding of how users form habits with products, enabling me to design features that align with their natural tendencies making them addictive to the product and therefore encourage engagement.

Experimenting With Productivity Tools

I often try out tools like Notion, Asana, or Zapier to streamline my own workflows. Sharing my experiences with peers has helped me recommend tools that improve team collaboration and align with product goals.
